Independent driving starts today

Today the 4th of October 2010 heralds the beginning of Independent driving on the UK practical car test.

From today the DSA examiner will only ask you to perform one driving test maneuver, instead of the second, a new 10 minute independent element has been introduced where the candidate will be expected to drive without instruction or directions from the examiner.

If you are worried about this, my independent test tips video below gives you advice on how to deal with this new test requirement.

  1. Nice tutorial. Proper training on a driving school will help you out to drive safely on the roads and you also have enough knowledge on the rules and regulations when driving.
