Driving Instructor sitting in car on Test

It is a good idea for you to discuss with your driving instructor if you want him or her to sit in the back of the car during the driving test or not.

It is up to you the candidate if you want the instructor there, and the usual question is does it matter.

Let me immediately tell you that there is no truth in the rumour that the driving examiner is less likely to pass you if your ADI is in the car, as they will be harsher with the marking. I have been in the car and thought a pupil had failed due to a driving error, only to find out that it had not been considered serious enough.

Many learner drivers will feel a little more confident if the instructor is in the car, while on the other hand it might make others more nervous, so speak to your instructor about it.

If you require high quality driving lessons from a very helpful, patient and fully qualified instructor, then why not call or send me a text message on 07956233032

Thinking about becoming an instructor? Don't just make a decision based on the red driving school TV advertisement, do the proper research and know all the ADI training options available to you.
