It is important to know however, that it is the responsibility of the provisional licence holder to make sure that they abide by the rules and conditions of their licence. Ignorance is no excuse, and if you are old enough to have a licence then you can find out the terms and conditions as well. Especially when it comes to insurance and who can sit next to you as a supervising driver.
