The Driving Test is not over till the examiner says so

It is very important that you bear in mind that the driving test is not over till you get back to the test centre, and the DSA examiner tells you to stop the engine of your car. Everything up till that moment is being assessed. Just because you can see the entrance to the driving test centre, or have arrived in the car park doesn't mean you are home and dry and can let down your guard.

The number of times people have failed the driving test within the last 2 minutes because they have relaxed their effort is too many to remember and for silly things as well!

Unfortunately the UK driving test is strict, and a serious fault can be marked irrespectively of how well the whole drive was or how few (and sometimes no) driving errors were made.
