Independent Driving - I cant read!

If you know someone who is worried about independent driving on the test because they can't read english or at all and fear they won't be able to pass the driving test due to their inability to read signs, then here is some information that might be of help.

1. You can have an interpreter accompany you on your test. Did you know that your driving instructor can act as your interpreter?

2. If you are not using an interpreter, you can ask the DSA examiner for directions when you spot the sign or approach a junction and are not sure where to go.

Watch the video below for more independent driving test tips.

If on the other hand you require personal one to one assistance in dealing with this new element of the UK practical test, I can offer high quality driving lessons in the Mill Hill, Hendon, or Borehamwood centre areas. Call or send me a text message on 07956233032.

Thinking about becoming an instructor? Don't just make a decision based on the red driving school TV advertisement, do the proper research and know all the ADI training options available to you.
